Wings For Autism: Nov. 2

WINGS FOR AUTISM ANCHORAGE

Join us on an adventure with Alaska Airlines! Navigate our local airport, board a plane and practice travel skills with your family!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2 | 11:00 AM | ALASKA AIRLINES AT TED STEVENS ANCHORAGE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The Arc’s Wings for Autism® (Wings) program gives families and aviation professionals the confidence to take to the skies with ease by providing an airport “rehearsal,” as well as a presentation on the aircraft features and in-flight safety protocols.

Wings For Autism® alleviates some of the stress that people with autism and other I/DDs and their families experience when traveling by air by providing families with the opportunity to experience and learn about how their loved ones will react to different stimuli in the airport, boarding and being seated on an aircraft.

Registration for Wings For Autism® ANC is required! Thanks to our partnership with Alaska Airlines, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, TSA, Alaska DOT&PF, and support from Alaska Autism Resource Center and Credit Union 1, this event is open to the public and free for participants.

Registration is currently open; last day to register is October 27 at 11:59 pm. Use the registration link provided below.
