As we are able to share more details we hope to receive feedback. [UPDATE: Safety Plan for Phase I – COVID-23 Phase I Reopening Plan for On-Site Day Hab]
Space is extremely limited in this first round of classes, so please contact us as soon as possible if you’re interested in any of the above class offerings. We plan to add more dates, times, and class options in the future but until then will work with support teams to creatively accommodate as many of you as possible in some capacity. If you are not comfortable with group activities we may be able to provide one-on-one support, depending on staff availability.
For those that have been already receiving one-on-one support to hike and get outdoors, we will be talking with you all to determine on a case-by-case basis if you would like to make changes or not and what schedules will look like moving forward.
We will continue to hold First Fridays, dances and other special events online until further notice. Our next dance is the Superheroes and Villains Dance, held on Zoom from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, July 24. This month we will be closed on dance day in order to prepare for our soft opening the week of July 27. That means no Zoom classes or one-on-one services July 24, just the dance from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
We thank you for your patience and support during this time. From helping us pilot our online Zoom classes, to providing feedback, to being patient as we worked out one-on-one hiking schedules – truly this has been a group effort. It’s been wonderful to see our community come together and remain engaged and positive, and we hope to support more of you to resume your connection with Recreation Center and Sparc in the coming weeks.
Stay healthy, safe and enjoy the summer sun!
